  • Large plastic bag
  • Baking sheet with wire rack

  • Frying thermometer
  • Slotted spoon / tongs

    PREP

    • Season your chicken well with salt and pepper and let it warm up to room temperature
    • Mix your flour, salt, and pepper and place in large ziplock bag
    • Place oil in pan and turn on medium heat

    RECIPE DIRECTIONS

    1. Combine the milk and eggs in a large bowl and whisk together.
    2. Place the chicken in the milk and egg mixture and let excess drip off back into the bowl.
    3. Set already dipped pieces aside on a plate until you have three or four.
    4. Add chicken pieces to the bag of seasoned flour, a few at a time.
    5. Close the bag and shake to coat the chicken.
    6. Check to make sure your oil is at 350 degrees and begin to fry the chicken a few pieces at a time.
    7. Cook for about 7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
    8. Don't overcrowd the pan as you want to be sure the oil temperature does not drop much!
    9. With tongs or a slotted spoon, place the cooked chicken pieces onto the wire rack and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
    10. You can keep the chicken warm in a 200 degree oven while frying the rest of the chicken.
