Poached Egg


  • Abbio Sauce Pan
  • Large spoon
  • Small bowl or ramekin


    • Crack your egg and place it in a small bowl or ramekin


    1. Fill your Abbio sauce pan halfway with water, add a pinch of salt and a splash of white vinegar.
    2. Bring the water to a simmer (not a boil!)
    3. Once the water is simmering, take your large spoon and swirl the water in a circular motion creating a whirlpool like effect.
    4. Slowly slide your egg into the water. The circling water should stop the egg from breaking apart.
    5. Turn off the heat, cover the pan, and let the egg sit for 5 minutes.
    6. After 5 minutes, use your large spoon to carefully life the perfectly poached egg out of the pan.
    7. Voila! Sprinkle with a pinch a salt and put that egg on whatever you please!
